September 2009: Dr. Riki Ott on 'The Democracy Crisis: How Corporate Persons have Trumped Human Rights'

Dr. Riki Ott is familiar to many Alaskans for her books Not One Drop: Betrayal and Courage in the Wake of the Exxon Valdez Oil Spill and Sound Truths $ Corporate Myths. At this event, Riki Ott will analyze how corporations have received "human rights" status in US courts and the raminifications of that legal status on our lives today. This event is cosponsored by the Office of Sustainability.
