UAA Athletics to team up for Blood Bank of Alaska drive - Sept. 19, 2009

Saturday, Sept. 19, 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Wells Fargo Sports Complex
The University of Alaska Anchorage Athletic Department is teaming up with the Blood Bank of Alaska to give Seawolf Nation a chance to give blood and save lives. The BBA's LIFEmobile will be on campus outside the Wells Fargo Sports Complex on Saturday, Sept. 19, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Everyone donating blood as part of this drive will receive two free tickets to an upcoming UAA volleyball match.
Appointments to donate can be made by calling (907) 222-5630. The Blood Bank of Alaska accepts walk-ins as time allows. Students can also find Blood Bank of Alaska on Facebook, MySpace and Twitter. For more information about donating, visit the Blood Bank of Alaska Web site.
