The University of Alaska Anchorage got a B-minus on the 'Green Report Card.'

up from the C-minus it had last year. The University of Alaska Fairbanks and UAA are in a friendly sustainability competition to see who can get a better grade on the report card next year.
The Green Report Card is issued by the Sustainable Endowments Institute, a Massachusetts nonprofit that grades 300 colleges on environmental practices such as recycling, student involvement and green building and transportation. For more information visit, www.greenreportcard.org.
