Fall 2009: Turn your clock back one hour this weekend

by Kathleen McCoy  |

This weekend, it's time to turn the clock back one hour as Daylight Savings Time ends.

Please use this event as a reminder to change the battery in your smoke and carbon dioxide (CO2) detectors. Keep in mind that even smoke detectors that are "hard wired" into your home often use a battery as back-up.

This is also a good time to refresh the water in your home and office emergency bucket.
