Nominations due by Friday, Dec. 4
Nominate a student who makes a difference for the 15th Annual Student Appreciation Luncheon. This event is part of UAA's celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and Alaska Civil Rights Day, presented by the Chancellor's Office and Student Activities. The luncheon will be held Jan. 22, 2010, from 11:45 a.m.-1:30 p.m. in the Student Union cafeteria.
UAA faculty and staff are invited to honor up to three students by completing an online form. Please visit www.uaa.alaska.edu/sll and click on the MLK logo to complete all of your nominations. Nominees will receive personal invitations to attend the luncheon with a guest, as well as his/her nominator. Nominees will receive recognition for their efforts and will have the opportunity to meet and listen to renowned author and educator Nikki Giovanni.
All nominations must be received by Friday, Dec. 4.
