The UAA/APU Books of the Year proudly presents renowned Alaska author Seth Kantner for a free lecture and book signing. His two books, Shopping for Porcupine and Ordinary Wolves, mark him as one of the most interesting and dynamic Alaska writers. He will discuss the Books of the Year theme, "Responding to climate change in Alaska," illustrated by his own photos and commentary.

UAA and APU started the Books of the Year program in 2006 as part of a Ford Foundation Difficult Dialogues initiative to stimulate discussions on challenging and relevant topics.
