Seeking current student, faculty, staff and program success stories for Accolades

UAA's Office of University Advancement is starting work on the Spring/Summer 2010 issue of Accolades. The issue will focus on how UAA is not an island and its citizens are not members of a solo community. This issue will show, through its stories, that Anchorage and Alaska are part of UAA and that UAA is part of Anchorage and Alaska.
A section of this issue will feature pages to showcase student, faculty, staff and program accolades. Do you know of a current UAA student, program, or faculty or staff member that has recently received an award, completed a project or earned a scholarship? Please send the student or faculty's name, major, projected date of graduation, a brief description of his/her accomplishment, and a photo by Friday, Jan. 22 to Cassidy White at asclw52@uaa.alaska.edu or (907) 786-1408.
