Saturday, Feb. 6, 7:30 p.m.
Arts Building, Room 150

Timothy Smith became a familiar face overnight to millions of Chinese when his high-energy performance with pianist Sa Chen was broadcast nationally over Chinese television. He will be bringing that exciting style home to Anchorage for his own solo piano recital at the UAA Recital Hall.

The program will feature a no-holds-barred version of some of the most demanding works in the pianistic repertoire, including sonatas by the hyper-romantic Alexander Scriabin and the epic Dante Sonata of Franz Liszt.

This truly promises to be an exciting evening of music making, but you have only one chance---this is a one-night only performance.  Saturday, February 6, at 7:30 p.m. in the UAA Arts Recital Hall. Tickets are available at Centertix.com and at the door.

Cost: $18 General, $15 seniors, non-UAA students and military. For tickets go to CenterTix and UAA Arts Building Box Office. For more information, contact the Music Department at (907) 786-1595.
