Friday, Feb. 19, 11:30 a.m.- 1 p.m.
Rasmuson Hall, Room 303

Come to the Culture Shock workshop to find out what's happening with international student recruitment, tips for dealing with difficult classroom situations with international students, resources available to international students, essential student visa regulation information and how ISS can help you!

In recent years, we have seen the largest number of international students in UAA's history. Efforts are underway to increase this population, which provides our domestic students with opportunities to expand their sense of global citizenship and enhances the diversity of our campus and our community. International Student Services in Enrollment Management offers many resources to faculty to assist in working with this population hailing from over 90 countries around the world, as well as enhance experiences for domestic students. Question and answer session to follow!
