UAA and the Alaska Humanities Forum are sponsoring a discussion that will engage Alaska Native warriors and leaders courageously facing the challenge to retain the right to harvest wild plants, animals and fish. All are welcome to learn what you can do to support and/or get involved in these efforts. Speakers include Orville Huntington (Athabascan), Larry Merculieff (Aleut) and George Shade (Bristol Bay).
