Marilyn Pierce-Bulger is the newly appointed team coordinator for the new Anchorage FASD Diagnostic Team sponsored by Assets, Inc. Pierce-Bulger has more than 30 years experience working with women and children in Alaska as a certified nurse-midwife, public health nurse and nurse practitioner.

Pierce-Bulger's presentation will explore the statistic that 50 percent  of women in the United States who become pregnant had no intention of doing so, and how health professionals, family members and friends can assist in preventing alcohol-exposed pregnancies (AEPs).

All students, faculty, staff and members of the public are encouraged and welcome to attend. No registration is required and the lecture is free to attendees. Continuing education credits are available. Please see our Arctic FASD Web site for more details.
