UAA/APU Books of the Year Program presents Charles Wohlforth on Feb. 18

Charles Wohlforth, author of The Whale and the Supercomputer, will be providing a free lecture and slideshow on "Nature and Human Nature." He'll discuss how culture, not technology, holds the key to humankind's ability to cooperate to solve environmental problems, including climate change. Alaska provides a clear example for conflicting world views that lead to different fates for nature and our relationship to the Earth. This event is sponsored by the UAA/APU Books of the Year Program, and will be held on Thursday, Feb. 18 at 7 p.m. in the UAA Fine Arts Building, Room 150.
