Please join us and give your thoughts at the open forums for the next two candidates for the Director of the Center for Community Engagement and Learning (CCEL).
Monday, March 29: Dr. Christine Gehrett
Lunch discussion, Noon-1 p.m.
Public presentation, 1:45-2:45 p.m.

Dr. Christine Gehrett is an associate professor of philosophy and education at Kenai Peninsula College. She has been actively involved in UAA's AEIN grant and the Ford Foundation Difficult Dialogues project, and as well as multiple service projects in the Kenai/Soldotna area.
Tuesday, April 6: Mara Kimmel, J.D.
Lunch Discussion, Noon-1:30 p.m.
Public presentation from 1:45-2:45 p.m.

Mara Kimmel is an assistant professor UAA's Political Science Department. She has been involved in UAA's climate change in the curriculum initiative, as well as coordinating continuing legal education and working with Immigration and Refugee Services programs in the community.
