Legacy Lecture: The Psychology of a Woman podcast now available

by Kathleen McCoy  |

As a part of Women's History Month 2010, Kimberly Pace, director of the Women's Studies Program at UAA, invited psychology professor Dr. Claudia Lampman to deliver a Legacy Lecture-what Pace described as the lecture a professor would give if it was their very last lecture.

Professor Lampman took that challenge, and delivered a personal talk about her own life and its significant intersections. These were times, like childbirth and career moments, in which knowledge and curiosity about psychology, along with her professional research, that delivered insights on the gender differences between men and women. Hint: There are very few, but those that exist are significant.

This lecture was recorded March 18, 2010 and can be listened to online here.
