Meritorious Service Award nominations are due by April 14, 2010

The Meritorious Service Awards Committee is reaching out to the community for suggested nominees.  The criteria as outlined in the Board of Regents' Policy (Part X - Academic Policy - Chapter 10.03.030), is evidence of significant public, academic, volunteer or philanthropic service to UAA or one of its community campuses, or to an Alaska community.

The nominator should submit a one-page synopsis that contains the following information:

  • Nominee's full name;
  • Nominee's contact information;
  • Nominee's bio;
  • Rationale for recommendation, including evidence of outstanding service and/or contribution to Alaska community and/or campus;
  • Nominator's name and contact information; and
  • Supporting letters (optional).

Nominations for 2011 should be submitted to the University Advancement Department by Wednesday, April 14, 2010. Nominations can be mailed to:
