Want to learn more about yourself and others? Discuss and experience issues related to diversity? Don't miss the opportunity to join this exciting one-day NCBI Welcoming Diversity Prejudice Reduction Workshop for UAA students on Friday, March 26 from 8:55 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. in Gorsuch Commons, Room 107.
The UAA/NCBI team will present the NCBI award-winning Welcoming Diversity Prejudice Reduction Workshop. UAA Students will have an opportunity to participate in an experiential process and a series of activities.
Participants will celebrate their similarities and differences, recognize information and misinformation learned about other groups including their own, identify and express pride in the group(s) to which a person belongs and learn skills to effectively respond to offensive remarks and comments and much, much more.
Every group counts and every group is important in welcoming diversity on our campus.
