Planetarium offers "Two Pieces of Glass" with atronomer Andrew Puckett - March 26, 2010

Friday, March 26, 7 and 8:30 p.m. CPISB Planetarium and Visualization Theater

Engaging and appealing to audiences of all ages, "Two Small Pieces of Glass" traces the history of the telescope from Galileo's modifications to a child's spyglass--using two small pieces of glass--to the launch of NASA's Hubble Space Telescope and the future of astronomy. It explores the wonder and discovery made by astronomers throughout the last 400 years. Shows are free for current UAA Planetarium members, $10 for adults and $5 for UAA students (with a valid ID) and $5 for children (4-18 years). Click here for more information.
