4th Annual CBPP 'Sophist Salmon' Debate is April 23

by Kathleen McCoy  |

Friday, April 23, 1-3 p.m.
Rasmuson Hall, Room 316

The Resolution: "This house resolves that Alaska will always face a brain drain."

The Teams: Dr. Frank Jeffries and CBPP student Zachary Johnson vs. Dr. Philip Price and CBPP student Ken Sawyer

The Sophist Principle: Each team prepares both sides of the resolution, but a coin toss on debate day determines which side they must argue.

The audience will decide the winning team by "voting with the feet."

Please attend what promises to be an educational and entertaining event as we end the 2009-2010 CBPP Seminar Series with a bang!

Parking is free on Fridays. For more information, contact Janet Burton at (907) 786-4171 or anjeb@cbpp.uaa.alaska.edu.
