Looking for ways to reach your students outside of the classroom? Want to create rich multimedia content for your latest class project? Podcasts are a quick and easy way to deliver compelling multimedia teaching and learning content to mobile users. In this workshop, participants learn how to create audio only, enhanced and video podcasts on the Mac and share them with students using iTunes U.

In this workshop, representatives from Apple will discuss and demonstrate:

  • what podcasting is, and the various types of podcasts available today;
  • examples of how podcasting is being used in higher teaching and learning contexts;
  • how to create an enhanced podcast using Apple's GarageBand application;
  • how to share content using iTunes U and Apple's MacOS X Server wiki and blog solution;
  • how to create an automated content capture and distribution system using Apple's Podcast Producer 2 solution.
