FINAL DAY: Dorm residents are invited to recycle their cast-offs April 26-May 3

Last fall "sibling" rivals UAA and UAF announced plans to compete in the first UAA/UAF Sustainability Cup Challenge, an environmentally-friendly version of the annual intrastate hockey rivalry. This spring UAA kicks the competition into high gear with activities geared at reducing its impact on the earth and raising its sustainability grade.
Students can recycle their used clothing, furniture and other still-valuable stuff instead of throwing things in the dumpster. Check with your RAs on where to recycle. Big Brothers and Big Sisters will pick up all re-usable items from the Residence Halls starting April 26 through May 3.
Remember your trash may be someone else's treasure! So, please, recycle!
