Did you know that 43 Alaska Anchorage student-athletes participated in the 11th annual "Reading with the Seawolves"

on Friday, April 23 at Airport Heights Elementary School?
Coordinated by UAA associate director Dede Allen, the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and staff, the Seawolves gathered the second-most athletes in the program's history to take part in the event -- 48 Seawolves took part last season.
"This is a wonderful event that allows our student-athletes to become more involved in the community and act as role models for today's youth," said Allen. "We look forward to continuing this tradition in the future."
The student-athletes broke into multiple groups and read to kindergarten through third graders, as well as taking part in a soccer game in the gymnasium.
