Student callers help grow a culture of philanthropy at UAA

A group of 11 students are helping to grow a culture of philanthropy at the University of Alaska Anchorage. The students, members of the University's Phonathon program, are connecting with alumni far and wide to share UAA news and events, and to seek financial support for UAA's expanding programs.

The Phonathon program raised an astounding $125,000 this year alone, and has brought in a total of $500,000 to UAA since its inception in 2004. More than 2,000 alumni donors have supported their alma mater through UAA's Annual Giving program.
