This free four-hour workshop is open to the public. Topics include:
- Effects of alcohol on the developing embryo and fetus
- Characteristics of FAS/FASDs
- Prevention of alcohol-exposed pregnancies
- How individuals with FAS/FASDs are screened and diagnosed
- Treatments and therapies available for individuals with FAS/FASDs
- The psycho-social and cultural effects of FASDs
- Continuing education credits are available ($25.00 processing fee)
