CAFE offers faculty book groups; e-book portfolio is Sept. 8, 2010

All faculty are invited to participate in two fall semester book groups sponsored by the Center for Advancing Faculty Excellence (CAFE).

The Making Learning Visible book group starts Friday, Sept. 3 from 8:30-10 a.m. in GHH 105. This group will discuss Inquiry into the College Classroom: A journey toward scholarly teaching by Paul Savory, Amy Nelson Burnett and Amy Goodburn.

The e-book Portfolio group begins Wednesday, Sept. 8 from 1-2:30 p.m. in the Faculty Technology Center, LIB 214. It will focus on Cambridge, Cambridge, and Yancey's Electronic Portfolios 2.0: Emergent Research on Implementation and Impact (2009).
