Apply for the Alaska Space Grant Program Undergraduate Scholarship by Oct. 29

Undergraduate scholarships of up to $1,000 will be awarded through a competitive process to full-time students attending the University of Alaska. Scholarships are open to new and continuing students in the disciplines of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).

Applications are available at: http://spacegrant.alaska.edu. An essay, student resume, transcripts and one letter of recommendation will be required. Listed below are the qualifications to apply:

  • Applicants must be a full-time student in good academic standing
  • Applicants must be formally admitted into a degree-seeking program in STEM discipline fields; applications are also ranked on those students interested in NASA-related STEM career goals
  • Applicants must be an incoming or continuing student at the University of Alaska
  • Applicants must be a U.S. citizen
