Fall 2010: Avoiding flu is worth a shot

by Kathleen McCoy  |

Ready or not, the flu season may begin as early as October. Since the best way of avoiding the flu is getting vaccinated, your UA Health In Action team is coming to a UA campus near you in Anchorage, Fairbanks and Juneau.

This year's flu shot is a combination vaccine of seasonal flu and H1N1. The cost is $25, and payments must be made via cash or check. Vaccinations will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis. No appointment necessary.
