Beginning Oct. 4, UAA's students can opt-in to their new e-mail service through Gmail

IT Services is pleased to announced that all UAA student e-mail accounts will be migrated to Gmail accounts by the end of the fall semester. Students can opt-in as early as Oct. 4, and begin using Gmail's applications and expanded account space. Your username and password will not change, but you will have the added benefits of a Gmail account, including Goggle Calendaring and mobile device connectivity.
Early opt-in is encouraged; those accounts that haven't been personally migrated to Gmail by Dec. 15 will be automatically transferred to the new service by IT prior to the new year. You will not lose any of your old e-mails with the transfer.
