Export Council of Alaska awards scholarship to UAA student

At the 23rd Annual Export Alaska Celebration Luncheon on Sept. 8, more than 200 business, government and civic leaders gathered at the Sheraton Anchorage Hotel to celebrate another successful year for exports in Alaska. The Export Council of Alaska awarded scholarships to student achievers pursuing careers in the international arena, Lt. Governor Craig Campbell announced the winners of the Governor's North Star Awards for International Excellence and Mr. Kevin O. Meyers of ConocoPhillips presented the keynote speech. UAA International Studies major, Tsugumi Kozuma received a scholarship.
