Fall 2010 Global Opportunities Fair

by Kathleen McCoy  |

UAA offers study abroad opportunities in over 55 countries. Bring your friends and head over to the Office of International Affairs' Global Opportunities Fair to get the skinny from representatives from nine of UAA's study abroad partners. Ask about their exciting programs, internships, service learning options and scholarships. Plus, talk to Career Services and the Office of Financial Assistance at the fair on Thursday, Sept. 29.

Looking for a program for spring 2011 in a Spanish-speaking country? Don't miss Professor Frank von Hippel's presentation on the AHA program in Rosario, Argentina, at 5:30 p.m. on Sept. 29. You must be at least a sophomore in good academic standing and have one year of college Spanish or two years of high school Spanish to be eligible. UAA has one $500 scholarship for an AHA program for spring 2011.

Faculty, check out the session on teaching opportunities with Semester at Sea at 10 a.m. on Sept. 29.

Join us at UAA or Mat-Su College. The fair schedule is posted on the Office of International Affairs' website.

For more information or questions, please contact Leslie Tuovinen, International Affairs Coordinator, at (907) 786-4135 or anlat@uaa.alaska.edu after Sept. 26. See you at the fair!
