Fall 2010: Human Resource Services announces fall training calendar

The Human Resource Services department is announcing our fall training calendar. In addition to our ongoing training with UAKjobs and job form processing, we are introducing a number of new workshops, including:

• Time management and personal productivity
• Producing WOWs in customer service
• Brainstorming
  
• Performance management for employees

These workshops will be presented in the University Lake Building and will also be simulcast through closed circuit audio/visual for those who can participate in Kenai, Kodiak, Mat-Su and Prince William Sound.  
 
In conjunction with ComPsych, we will be presenting workshops on Facilitating Effective Meetings on Oct. 4 and Coaching on Oct.  5.

Human Resource Services is also presenting workshops to individual work groups. Any of the workshops listed in the calendar as well as Performance Management Skills can be presented in this manner. As a very unique opportunity, Human Resource Services can also facilitate DiSC Assessment Profiles within established work groups. The DiSC Assessment Profile provides insight for teambuilding, communication, conflict management and much more.

We appreciate the support of the APT Council and the Classified Council who participated in a needs analysis earlier this year that suggested many of these workshops.
