Jazz Week Benefit Concert is Sept. 29

The UAA Department of Music is sponsoring the first concert in its annual Jazz Week Benefit Concert Series. The Dan Mac Quintet featuring Dan McElrath on keyboards, Rick Zelinsky on saxophones, Pat Owens on trumpet, Errol Bressler on bass and Cameron Cartland on percussion will be performing original jazz compositions by Dan McElrath and Rick Zelinsky from their two new recent CD releases Ajazzka and Rick Zelinsky LIVE, as well as several new compositions.
Advance tickets: $2 UAA students; $5 seniors, students and military; and $10 general admission
Day of concert tickets: $7 UAA Students; $10 seniors, students and military; and $15 general admission.
No reserved seating. Tickets are only sold at the UAA Fine Arts Building Box Office, (907) 786-4TIX (4849). Proceeds benefit Jazz Week 2011, March 2-5.
