CAFE offers talk on 'Enhancing Faculty Well-Being and Vitality at UAA' with guest lecturer Dr. Charles Walker - Oct. 7-8, 2010

Please join the Center for Advancing Faculty Excellence (CAFE) for an exciting research-based presentation and workshop on practices that enhance faculty well-being and vitality inside the classroom and out.

Dr. Charles Walker, Psychology professor at St. Bonaventure University in New York, has devoted his academic career to researching those institutional and professorial practices that create vital learning and working climates and prevent faculty burnout.

On Thursday, Dr. Walker will present Two Decades of Research on Professional Vitality and Longevity. On Friday, his topic will be Classroom Practices that Support Faculty Well-Being and a Vital Teaching Climate.
