2010 Ski Swap

UAA will team up with the Alyeska Ski Club to host the annual West High Ski Swap on Oct. 30-31.
Equipment check-in will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 30, with sales going on from noon to 5 p.m. On Sunday, Oct. 31, equipment can be checked in from 9 a.m. to noon, with sales going on from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The event will also double as a food collection site for the Food Bank of Alaska. Participants are encouraged to bring canned vegetables, fruit and soups, boxed stuffing mix and other non-perishable items in support of the Food Bank of Alaska's Thanksgiving Blessing Project, a community-wide food distribution scheduled for the month of November.
This ski swap has been taking place at the same location for 35 years. Skiers and riders are invited to bring equipment and make deals.
