AHAINA commemorates the building of the Alcan Highway with a film on Oct. 29

In partnership with the National Juneteenth Armed Services Commission, AHAINA Student Programs and the Office of Campus Diversity & Compliance invite you to celebrate African American army engineers who built the historic Alcan Highway during World War II and completed the Sikanni Chief River Bridge on Oct. 28, 1942.


A video of this historic contribution to Alaska's history will be featured on Friday, Oct. 29, at 3 p.m. in AHAINA Student Programs, Rasmuson Hall, Room 106. Light refreshments and door prizes.
