2010 Alaska Native/Native American Heritage Month kicks off with a celebration on Nov. 1

Please join the UAA Campus Community in celebration of the 2010 Kick-Off of Alaska Native/Native American Heritage Month.
Planned for the kick off is a welcome by Chancellor Fran Ulmer, moderated by Paul Ongooguk, performance by Ingrimuiut: People of the Mountains dance group, a Native dress review and special messages from Native elder Elaine Abraham and UAA student Michon Alvarez.
