Oct. 29, 2010: Biology Department features a lecture with Elvin Brown

The Biology Department welcomes all for a lecture by Ph.D. candidate Elvin Brown on Friday, Oct. 29. His topic is "ATP-dependent chromatin-remodeling proteins in Xenopus development."

Remodeling gone wrong: understanding how chromatin remodeling enzymes are required to develop eyes, brains and body plans. Elvin Brown will discuss his research using frogs to understand vertebrate development.

Parking on the UAA campus is free every Friday.
