Ten USUAA Senate Assembly positions are available to students for the fall 2010 general election taking place Nov. 9-10.

USUAA Senate members must currently hold a 2.5 cumulative grade point average and serve two hours of office time each week in the USUAA office. Senators help make up the USUAA Assembly, which initiates and acts upon legislation on behalf of the membership of USUAA. Senators are also required to be a part of a committee.

If students are interested in a Senate position, please stop by the Student Government office in the Student Union or the Student Life and Leadership Office, Room 218.

For more information on the Senate positions, please contact USUAA President Miles Brookes at aypres@uaa.alaska.edu or (907) 786-1205 or go online to http://www.uaa.alaska.edu/unionofstudents/.
