Thesis formatting workshop for faculty, staff and students set for Oct. 20

by Kathleen McCoy  |

Wednesday, Oct. 20, 10-11:30 a.m.
UAA/APU Consortium Library, Room 307

This workshop is co-sponsored by CAFE and the UAA and UAF Graduate Schools.

Both faculty advisors and students have a role to play in formatting the thesis or dissertation. While students research and compose the thesis, faculty advisors are an important part of a graduate student's resources in writing his or her thesis or dissertation; they provide assistance not only with the content and academic rigor of the research of the thesis, but also in formatting the final product.

Did you know that chairs of the thesis committee are responsible for the approval of thesis content, English usage, readability and thesis format? Staff are an integral part of the thesis process and can be an additional resource for formatting and aiding in the submission of the final research product to the Graduate School.
