Tuesday, Oct. 19, 1:30-4:30 p.m. University Lake Building, Room 104

On Tuesday, Oct. 19 at 1:30 p.m., Human Resource Services will present a workshop on brainstorming. Learn how to harness the incredible, exciting and proven power of group-based creative problem-solving. If you've ever needed solutions to issues, needed to solve a seemingly insurmountable problem, wanted to overcome stale or outdated ideas, or need to bring together input from a number of different individuals or departments, or ensure buy-in from a group, this is your opportunity.

The workshop will cover a number of different brainstorming processes. It will then focus on using the brainstorming process to develop new and creative ideas to an issue. Those in the workshop will participate in brainstorming the statement, "What can we as an organization do to ensure that all staff within the University of Alaska receive a performance evaluation within the next year?"

To register for the workshop, go to the Human Resources training website. Click on Calendar & Registration. Once there, click on the announcement on Oct. 19 to sign up.
