Clinton Global Initiative University (CGI U) invites participation from UAA students; deadline to apply is Feb. 7

UC San Diego and former President Bill Clinton will host the fourth annual Clinton Global Initiative University (CGI U) meeting next spring to engage the next generation of leaders from around the world. I hope you'll consider submitting an application to the Clinton Foundation to be a part of this special gathering, which will be held on the UC San Diego campus from April 1-3, 2011.

The early decision and financial aid deadline is Nov. 30, 2010, and the final application deadline is Feb. 7, 2011. We expect at least 1,000 student attendees from across the United States and from countries around the world. In order to be considered for participation in CGI U, students must develop a Commitment to Action -- a specific plan to create meaningful and measurable results on their campuses, within their communities, or in a different part of the world.

You can make a positive difference too. I encourage you to apply for CGI U 2011. For more information on the program and the application process, visit the Clinton Global Initiative University website.
