CPISB, Planetarium

UAA's Complex Systems Group invites you to attend a free fractal show in UAA's Planetarium and Visualization Theater on Friday, Nov. 5 at 12:30 p.m. in UAA's ConocoPhillips Integrated Sciences Building (CPISB).

This spectacular, award-winning full-dome planetarium show takes viewers on a trip through fractals in nature and zooms through infinitely complex mathematical fractals. Featuring original music, the show is both educational and highly entertaining. Space is limited to the first 64 attendees, the maximum capacity of the Planetarium.

See the Fractal Foundation website for information about the fractal show. Visit the Planetarium website for details on the theater.

This event is free and open to the public. Parking is free on UAA's campus on Fridays. Recommended parking is either the northeast corner of the UAA/APU Consortium Library Parking lot or in the CPISB Parking Garage. After entering the atrium, take the stairwell in the center of the building to the second floor and cross the bridge to the Planetarium's entrance.

Although this event is part of the complex systems "brown bag" presentations, no food or drink is allowed in the planetarium.

Visit the Complex Systems website for the schedule of future events. For more information, contact Kenrick Mock at (907) 786-1056 or kenrick@uaa.alaska.edu.
