2010 National Drug Facts Week

by Kathleen McCoy  |

When it comes to drugs and drug abuse, misinformation can have serious and unhealthy consequences. Getting the facts can help you make informed, low-risk decisions related to alcohol, tobacco and other drugs. It's important to get your information from credible sources, such as a local health center or alcohol/drug educator. You can also research national sources like National Institute of Drug Abuse (NIDA), Office on National Drug Control Policy or Healthfinder.gov, among others.

For more information about drug use and abuse, please contact your UAA Alcohol, Drug, & Wellness Educator, Lexi Prunella, at anafp@uaa.alaska.edu.
