Call for Meritorious Service Award nominations; deadline Feb. 18, 2011

The nomination deadline is Feb. 18, 2011.

The Meritorious Service Award Committee is reaching out to the community for suggested nominees. The award recipients are individuals who have demonstrated:

  • Evidence of significant services in the area of public, academic, volunteer or philanthropic;
  • Services to UAA or one of the community campuses, or to an Alaska community (i.e., health, arts, sciences, engineering, etc.);
  • Longevity of commitment and/or service; and/or
  • Diversity -- culturally and/or discipline.

The criteria as outlined in the Board of Regents' Policy (Part X-Academic Policy-Chapter 10.03.030).
