Doctor of Pharmacy Distance Pathway Program now accepting applications

UAA and the Creighton University School of Pharmacy and Health Professions (SPAHP) have formed a new partnership that reserves five seats for first-year University of Alaska (UA) students or Alaska residents (per UA residency requirements) who meet the eligibility criteria and admission requirements for this special Doctor of Pharmacy program. UAA will provide coordination with Creighton for the Alaska program, though students will apply to and be enrolled in Creighton University, and their degrees will be awarded by Creighton. Deadline for application is March 1 for fall 2011.

Interested students are invited to attend one of the following informational sessions about this new program:

  • Thursday, Feb. 3, 3-4 p.m., LIB 307
  • Thursday, Feb. 3, 6-7 p.m., LIB 307 with videoconferencing with other UA campuses
  • Saturday, Feb. 5, 10 a.m., eLive session
