Many opera fans eagerly await the return of tenor John Ken Nuzzo to Anchorage after his successful performance with Anchorage Opera last year. This February, Nuzzo will be featured as Rodolfo in the Anchorage production of Puccini's "La Boheme." But for those wishing to hear this tenor in a more intimate setting, Nuzzo will join pianist Timothy Smith in a repeat of their tremendously successful collaboration last summer in Nagoya, Japan on Saturday, Jan. 29 at 7:30 p.m. in the UAA Arts Building, Recital Hall.

Nuzzo will join forces with pianist Smith in vocal works by Handel, Bellini, Schubert, John Duke and Duparc, rounding out the program with a set of Japanese Folk Songs. This is a rare opportunity to hear a veteran tenor who has performed onstage with the Metropolitan Opera in New York, up close and personal at UAA!

Advance tickets are $18 general, $15 student, senior and military, through CenterTix.net, (907) 263-ARTS or at the UAA Fine Arts Building Box Office (907) 786-4849.
