UAA recycle team expands pick up to include plastic bottles and cans

Don't throw your plastic bottles and cans in the trash anymore! The UAA recycle team is happy to announce the campus-wide expansion of the recycling program to include plastic bottles and cans. You will see groups of three separate recycle bins throughout campus for mixed paper, plastic bottles and cans. Without you, it's all just trash!
The Sustainability Club spread the word on the expansion by hosting a Flash Mob on Thursday, Jan. 27 in the Social Sciences Building (SSB) near the Starbucks cafe. Find photos of the event on Facebook, and a short video of the event, also on Facebook.
