2011 Cabin Fever Debates continues Feb. 8

Tuesday, Feb. 8, 7 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.

The Seawolf Debate team is proud to sponsor rounds three and four.

The first debate will address the motion "The U.S. should suspend all aid to Egypt until free and fair elections are held." Defending the motion in the role of Opening Proposition will be the team "Sweet Justice" of Chelsea Brown (sophomore, International Studies) and Julia Murakami (sophomore, Philosophy). Closing the debate for the proposition will be team "Bro My God" of Chris Lauer (freshman, undeclared) and Winston Monticello (junior, Psychology). Opening the opposition debate will be team "Dos Primos" of Nicholas Jackson (junior, Art) and Kimberly Hewitt (junior, English). The Closing Opposition team will be "Debatable" of Melanie Leydon (sophomore, Economics) and Austen Mersereau (freshman, Economics).
 
Round four will feature the teams of: 1st Proposition "RAMROD" - Megan Rodgers (senior, Political Science) and Kristin Baylon (senior, Political Science); 1st Opposition "Bench Warmers" - Charles Hart (freshman, Physical Education) and Hannah Coe; 2nd Proposition "Awesome Blossoms" - Irene Toporovskaya (senior, Marketing) and Sheryl Saturnino (senior, Psychology); and 2nd Opposition "The Dream Team" - Ariel Burr (senior, International Studies and Languages) and Paloma Field (junior, Electrical Engineering). They will debate the motion "The U.S. should declare access to the Internet to be a human right" at 8:30 p.m.
