Celebration of Change 2011 'Asking, Telling, Celebrating' April 23

Celebration of Change is the annual fundraiser for Radical Arts for Women (RAW), a lesbian and feminist philanthropic organization that funds Alaska women art projects. All are welcome to attend, so invite friends, partners, boyfriends, girlfriends, wives and husbands. Keep the children at home because this a performance for mature audiences.
This event is sponsored by Radical Arts for Women (RAW) and UAA's The Family.
Vendors are welcome. We offer free space: bring your own table. We encourage artists of all kinds and organizations supporting women. Massage therapists are also welcome and can come as early as 5 p.m. If you are interested please reserve in advanced with Jill at grrlzlist@gmail.com.
RAW is also holding The Nicole Blizzard Short Story Contest and deadline is April 1. Grand prize $500. The winner will be announced at Celebration. For complete guidelines please visit our website.
The Radical Woman Award honors women who have made significant contributions to the GLBT community in Alaska. Past winners include the fabulous Phyllis Rhodes, ME Rider, Barbara Soule and Victoria Shaver. Please nominate a wonderful woman in your life. Send a short paragraph highlighting her contributions to info@radicalartsforwomen.org by April 9. The winner will be announced at Celebration of Change as well.
