This is an introduction to fetal alcohol spectrum disorders (FASDs). It covers the history of recognition, causes, prevention strategies, diagnosis and assessment and interventions. It is designed to meet the needs of health and allied health care students and professionals.

This workshop meets the requirements for the State of Alaska's Department of Health and Social Services' FASD101: Insights into Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders training.

This workshop is a great addition to any portfolio or resume, especially for students who are considering entering any health-related field.
