Phi Theta Kappa Orientation - March 18, 2011

The Community and Technical College announces the formation of a local Phi Theta Kappa chapter, Beta Tau Delta, at the University of Alaska Anchorage. One of the oldest honor societies for two-year colleges in the country, Phi Theta Kappa recognizes and encourages scholarship and intellectual achievement in students pursuing two-year degrees. Currently, Phi Theta Kappa is the largest honor society in American higher education and its members enjoy access to a great number of scholarship and leadership opportunities.

Orientation for the Beta Tau Delta chapter of Phi Theta Kappa is scheduled for March 18. An induction ceremony will be held on Friday, April 22 at the same time and location.
